Carnivores Saga Account and More on Cityscape Multiplayer

I recently made a Carnivores Saga account, so hopefully I will be able to get some people to help me with our Cityscape multiplayer problems, and better yet, get some people to join us when we play. After playing today, we experienced similar sync failure messages while playing death match, and were able to play Co-op for a short time before it completely kicked us and locked us out. Every time we tried re-join the server, it would fail while loading. Also, the person we were playing with was the only person who could host the games, because when we created the games, he couldn't find our server. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment. Thank you!

Carnivores Cityscape Multiplayer Bugs. Advice?

As I stated a few weeks back, I'm trying to find ways to organize multiplayer games for the Carnivores Cityscape community. However, after a recent attempt, I had several issues with trying to play the game's multiplayer through a non-LAN connection. If you have any advice, please comment on the video or on this post. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Blog Makeover Complete

For those of you who didn't already notice, I basically transferred everything from Gamed2DeathStuff to this blog. All of our apps/games, wallpapers, and screen savers can now be accessed directly from the blog. Unlike the wiki, however, we will not be disposing of Gamed2DeathStuff, we are simply reserving it for things that are not possible to carry out on this blog directly. In doing this, we hope to make the blog more convenient and user friendly. Please feel free to leave your opinions in the comments section! Thank you!

P.s. I will try to make similar modifications to Filmed2Death as soon as I can get Porpoisemonkey to grant my account full privileges to edit the format of the blog.

Games That We Hope to Hear and See More of in 2013

1. The Last Guardian

The third game from Team Ico was announced quite some time ago, but there hasn't been a lot of information released regarding it, and overall it seems to have remained in the shadows... of the colossus... Anyway, I have no intentions of rushing Team Ico, and hope that they take as much time as they need to perfect the game (which they undoubtedly will accomplish), but it would definitely be nice to have a good update about its progress, and, if possible, its release date.

2. The Last of Us

I'm wondering if there's a pattern to this... Yet another PS3 exclusive, this new game from Naughty Dog is basically Uncharted with zombies... Which come to think of it already happened... Nevertheless, more of something good is fine by me IF it is good. While there's definitely more information out there about this game than The Last Guardian, the big question still stands: Will this game live up to the greatness that the Uncharted series built up?

3. Battlefield 4

Don't get me wrong; I'm not a brainless shooter addict who knows nothing but Call of Duty and Battlefield. However, I did enjoy both 1943 and BF3(I'm yet to play some of the earlier games), and so the announcement of Battlefield 4 so shortly after the release of Battlefield 3 was a little concerning to me; is Battlefield going to fall to the same two year cycle as Call of Duty? While it may be too early to make any assumptions like this, I do hope to hear a little more about just how Battlefield 4 will differentiate itself from the previous installments.

4. Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon

After waiting SO LONG hoping for a sequel to Luigi's Mansion, a game I thoroughly enjoy and consider one of my all time favorites, Nintendo finally announced this game for the 3DS. I haven't as of now acquired a 3DS, but if this game is half as good as the original, I'll find a way. Even though I often find 3D to be nothing more than a gimmick, I don't doubt that this game will benefit from the third dimension if properly applied.

5. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Patriots

The Rainbow Six series is one of my favorite series of first-person shooter games due to the tactical and stealth oriented gameplay. I loved the first and third games, and I hope that Patriots stays true to the series and incorporates a similar stealth approach. Yet again, not much has been announced about this game as of yet, especially regarding gameplay, so we have a lot to look forward to this year.

6. Call of Juarez Gunslinger

After the horrible mess that was named The Cartel, Techland has (thankfully) returned Call of Juarez to its proper place in the Wild West era. Whether or not it will be as good as the first two games is an entirely different thing, but as of yet there is too little evidence to make a decision one way or the other. If this game is anything like Bound in Blood, though, I think this series has a pretty good shot at redemption.

We may be updating this list in the future. In the meantime, we will hope for more info about these and more. Don't be afraid to leave a comment about a game(or games) that you are looking forward to this year.

Yet Another Finale Update

As everyone who's been reading these has probably predicted (all four of you), the show is once again being postponed. I feel deeply obliged to take full responsibility for this happening, but instead, I've decided to blame it entirely on Porpoisemonkey.

Actually, most of the show's segments are complete and ready to be compiled into the final show videos. With some minor exceptions, all that's remaining are the segments that we need to record with Porpoisemonkey, including the rest of the nostalgic games, a Battlefield 3 gameplay and commentary, and of course, the very undramatic and anticlimatic awards show, which we will be using as an excuse to bash Capcom, Activison, and other fun targets (nervous cough).

Anyway, we're doing what we can to keep the process moving as fast as possible, but we don't want to sacrifice quality for times sake. Of course, I seriously doubt that anyone reading this has actually been anticipating our finale, but doesn't necessarily you can't lie about that in the comments section. Thank you for taking the time to read this, although it probably accomplished nothing in your life.

To change the subject, if you have any suggestions for future segments or anything of that nature, please don't hesitate to tell us about your ideas, and please subscribe to our channels on Youtube. Thank you!

Another Update on the Finale

Due to some technical and schedule difficulties, we may not be able to deliver the finale by the previously listed date. The show may not be complete for as long as a week and a half. This is only to ensure the decent quality of the production, and to avoid a last-minute sloppy appearance (despite having planned this just over a month ago, I will admit, we were scrambling to organize a last minute date to finish off the nostalgic games, and we ended up having to postpone the whole project). Never the less, activity on the blog will continue, and hopefully Porpoisemonkey will get around to continuing our top 10 segment. The weekly Trophy of the Week and Achievement of the Week segments are now obsolete, as has been in effect for the past several months, so we will try to replace them with more interesting posts. We hope to come up with something that will bring more attention to the blog itself, although activity on our Youtube channels is much appreciated as well. Anglerbe, Eljoeyo and myself will be filming another Burnt Banana Sandwich production for our film making class, and we are planning several other projects, including an interactive video-adventure-like horror-suspense-mystery-action-science-fiction project (we need a new genre that condenses all of those, perhaps HSMASF. Hmmm maybe Samfhs. I quit.) Until next update, please check out our youtube channels, and feel free to leave a comment on our channels, this post, or anything of that nature. Thank you! Sorry about the delay!

Happy 2013!

And right on time! In respect to our schedule. The finale is in production! Other than that, I don't have much to say that wouldn't be boring to read. Have a great year!
