Sonic Colors
Aquarium Park 1
Despite it's relatively short length (or so it seemed to me at least), Sonic Colors was the game that pretty much got Sonic back on track after a long and painful train-wreck. Like the majority of Sonic games, the soundtrack is excellent and catchy. On top of this though, Sonic Colors actually decided to attempt the unthinkable-- create a non-tedious, fun-to-play, well designed aquatic-themed level. And I must admit, it succeeded, not just in the realm of the Sonic series, but quite arguably in any game. Or at least it's in the top 5. It's like running around in a giant, beautiful Japanese aquarium, kind of hard to beat that. The music is well fitting to this title; upbeat and aquatic, yet with a hint of sadness.
